3. Account Registration and Eligibility
To register and use the Platform, you must:
Be at least 18 years old.
Provide accurate, complete, and current information.
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Be legally eligible to work or contract as a driver, or to offer vehicles for commercial e-hailing use.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Platform Purpose and Limitations
E-hail Connect SA enables users to:
Create profiles as drivers seeking employment or vehicle use; or
Create profiles as car owners or businesses seeking to employ drivers.
We do not:
Guarantee employment, partnerships, or income.
Conduct background, credit, or criminal checks unless explicitly stated.
Mediate or enforce agreements between users.
All contracts, payments, and terms between a driver and a car owner/business are independent of E-hail Connect SA and should be recorded in a separate written agreement between the parties.
5. User Responsibilities
All users agree to:
Provide accurate and lawful information.
Comply with all relevant South African laws, including labour, tax, licensing, and transport regulations.
Use the Platform only for legitimate recruitment, employment, or vehicle-use matching related to e-hailing.
Not post misleading, fraudulent, or illegal information.
6. Risk, Fraud, and Disclaimer
a. You acknowledge that use of the Platform carries inherent risks, including potential fraud, theft, or misrepresentation by other users.
b. E-hail Connect SA is not responsible for any loss, damage, or harm arising from dealings between users, including scams, theft, vehicle damage, or non-payment.
c. We may, at our discretion, suspend or remove users suspected of misconduct, but we do not guarantee to identify or prevent all fraudulent activity.
d. Users should perform their own due diligence before entering any agreement, such as verifying identification, driver’s licences, or vehicle ownership.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:
E-hail Connect SA and its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to E-hail Connect SA in the 12 months before the event giving rise to a claim (if applicable).
8. Compliance with South African E-Hailing Laws
Users must comply with the National Land Transport Act (NLTA) and any related regulations that govern e-hailing operations.
Drivers must ensure they possess valid professional driving permits (PrDP) and comply with applicable city/municipal licensing.
Vehicle owners must ensure their vehicles meet roadworthiness, insurance, and operator licensing standards.
E-hail Connect SA assumes no responsibility for verifying or enforcing these requirements unless explicitly stated.
9. Privacy and Data Protection (POPIA Compliance)
a. We collect, store, and process personal information (such as name, ID, contact details, and qualifications) for the purpose of enabling connections between drivers and vehicle owners.
b. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and take reasonable measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
c. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information under POPIA by contacting our Information Officer.
d. Although we maintain secure systems, no platform is completely risk-free; by using E-hail Connect SA, you accept the residual risks of online data transmission.

10. Payments and Fees
Access to certain features of the Platform may require payment of service fees (for example, premium listings or verification services).
All fees are displayed clearly before payment. Fees are non-refundable, except where required by South African consumer protection law.

d. E-hail Connect SA is not a party to any such agreements and bears no responsibility for their terms, performance, or enforcement.
4. Eligibility and Account Registration
To use the Platform, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age;
Provide accurate, current, and lawful information;
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.
5. User Responsibilities

a. You acknowledge that use of the Platform involves inherent risks, including but not limited to fraud, misrepresentation, theft, non-payment, or contractual disputes.
b. E-hail Connect SA does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the identity, conduct, suitability, or legality of any user.
c. We are not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, injury, or dispute arising from interactions or agreements between users.
d. Users are encouraged to independently verify identities, licences, and documentation before proceeding with any arrangement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law:
E-hail Connect SA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic loss arising from use of the Platform.
Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to E-hail Connect SA in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Fees, Payments, and No Refunds
a. Certain features or services on the Platform may require payment.
b. All payments are final and non-refundable under all circumstances, as outlined in our Refund Policy.
c. Payment grants access to platform services only and does not guarantee employment or outcomes.
9. Suspension and Termination
